The Korea Music Content Association, which operates Gaon Chart, in the monthly chart in May 2021, Brave Girls 'Rollin' topped the digital and streaming chart, and NCT DREAM 'Hot Sauce - The 1st Album' took No.1 on the album chart, retail album chart, and download chart with the title single 'Hot Sauce'.

On the Social Chart 2.0, where you can intuitively check the global popularity of K-pop, BTS nominated the chart in May for a third straight month. The most popular video on BTS V live was 'ButterButter BuButter', and the My Celebs keywords were 'Captivating the world' and 'Achieving great results'.

In the week 23 Gaon Chart (30.05.2021 ? 05.06.2021) which released together, BTS 'Butter' continued to top the digital and streaming chart for a second week, and The Boyz ' KINGDOM COME - Kingdom ＜FINAL: WHO IS THE KING?＞' entered No.1 on the download chart. Tomorrow by Together 'Chapter of Chaos: FREEZE' reached No.1 on the weekly album chart and retail album chart of week 23.

Meanwhile, on the Gaon-certified streaming category, IU 'Blueming' is certified Double Platinum with more than 2 billion streaming count, on the download category 'Paris In The Rain' of Lauv and Kassy 'The day was beautiful' have surpassed 2.5 million downloads and are certified Platinum.

Albums that have sold over 1 million copies and are certified as Million are SEVENTEEN 3RD ALBUM 'An Ode', BAEKHYUN 'Bambi - The 3rd Mini Album', and ENHYPEN 'BORDER: CARNIVAL' is certified double platinum, NCT 'NCT RESONANCE Pt. 2 - The 2nd Album (Kit)’, ASTRO ‘All Yours’, KANGDANIEL ‘YELLOW’, and ITZY ‘GUESS WHO’ are certified Platinum.
